METALGUARD A70 is a conventional additive package used to make antifreeze for older passenger car applications. It utilizes technology to provide cooling system protection quite economically and free of nitrite.
The METALGUARD A70 additive package produces antifreeze that meets ASTM D3306, the specification for light-duty engine coolant covering automotive applications. It also meets the ASTM D4985 standard specification for low silicate ethylene glycol base engine coolant for heavy duty engines requiring a pre-charge of supplemental coolant additive (SCA).
METALGUARD A70 can be blended with either ethylene glycol or propylene glycol. It can be used with either virgin or high-quality reclaimed glycol from distillation units or reverse osmosis membrane systems.
