METALGUARD® A80-EXT

METALGUARD A80-EXT is a ready-to use, extended life,heavy-duty, allorganic (OAT) Extender. The extender is used at half of the coolant’s life or 300,000 miles (480,000 kilometers for on-road service) or 6,000 hours for off-road service. In a properly maintained coolant the addition of METALGUARD A80-EXT can prolong the life of the initial fill to a maximum of 600,000 miles (960,000 kilometers) or 12,000 off-road hours. The initial fill coolant needs to be properly maintained and not mixed or topped off with dissimilar coolants. The glycol/water percentages or freeze point also needs to be maintained throughout the time the coolant is in service. After the extender has been added the coolant should be checked on a regular schedule and serviced accordingly. Once the maximum miles or hours has been reached, the cooling system should be drained, flushed and refilled.
