METALGUARD® H Series
Heat Transfer Fluid Additive Packages
Heat Transfer Fluid Additive Packages
WEBA Technology has developed additive packages for making glycol/water type heat transfer fluids. Some of these applications include HVAC heating and air conditioning, heavy-duty compressor engine cooling, aluminum heat exchangers, solar, geothermal, and chemical processing applications. All the WEBA Technology. METALGUARD H series heat transfer fluid additive packages blend readily with glycol and provide the necessary corrosion prevention. The WEBA Technology line of heat transfer fluid additive packages can be used various glycols and related chemistries.
These inhibitor/additives are mixed at the appropriate treat rates to make heat transfer fluids for various markets and applications. METALGUARD H50 is the workhorse of WEBA’s heat transfer fluid additives. Containing phosphates and azoles it can be used in most industrial and commercial applications in both ethylene and propylene glycols. METALGUARD H60 an NSF registered additive package is made with GRAS (generally regarded as safe) ingredients and is acceptable for use in food storage, refrigeration/freezing applications as well as RV and winterizing solutions. METALGUARD H80 is specifically designed for aluminum-containing systems and can also be used in various glycol bases.
Products are available in standard packaging including: 55-gallon / 208-liter drums; 275-gallon / 1041-liter totes, and bulk tank trucks. Ask WEBA technical staff for recommendations on blending instructions, dyes, colorants, bittering agents or other ingredients.
